🔍 2. Where can I find details about each program?
Visit our website www.strosecyo.org
From the homepage, click:
- "Programs We Offer" in the menu, or
- The “Open Program Registration” or “Upcoming Program Registration” buttons — each includes a “Click here for sport information” link within the registration description that provides sport-specific details.
🧾 3. Do I need an account to register?
Yes. You’ll need a St. Rose CYO Teamsideline account to register.
- If you already have an account, go to www.strosecyo.org and click “Sign In” at the top left of the homepage.
- If you are new to CYO, you can create a new account by also clicking “Sign In” and then selecting the “Create a New Account” button.
We strongly recommend setting up or accessing your account before registration opens, especially for programs with limited capacity. This helps ensure a smooth registration process.
🔐 4. What info do I need to log in?
You’ll need the email used to create your account and your password.
- Forgot your password? Click “Forgot Password” on the sign-in page to reset it yourself.
- Want to change your email? Log in using your existing email, go to “My Profile,” and update your email address. Don’t forget to click SAVE after making changes.
- Forgot which email you used? Please contact the St. Rose CYO office at office@strosecyo.org, and we’ll help you recover your account.
⚠️ Please avoid creating multiple accounts — having different emails tied to multiple accounts causes confusion in our system.
📝 5. Where can I register or check upcoming registration dates?
- Current registrations: Click the “Open Program Registration” button on the homepage to view and register for programs that are actively accepting registrations.
- Future registration dates: Click the “Upcoming Program Registration” button to see programs that are scheduled to open soon.
- Full registration schedule: Go to the main menu and select Registration > When to Register to view a complete timeline of all program registration periods.
👥 6. Which programs require a full team to register?
- Travel High School Basketball (Grades 9–12)
- Adult Basketball League
These are team registrations, meaning that a team manager or head coach must:
- Gather a full roster
- Register the team
- Collect and submit the full team fee to the CYO main office
Please visit the St. Rose CYO website for more details on requirements and deadlines.
❌ 7. Is there Intramural Basketball for Girls in Grades 9–12?
No, we are not offering this program due to low interest. However, if you can assist in forming four or more full teams (12 players each), contact us at office@strosecyo.org.
🔁 8. Can Travel players also join Intramural Basketball?
Yes, players may participate in both programs if they wish.
📝 Important note about overlapping seasons:
- For Grades 4–8, Travel Basketball and Intramural Basketball run during the same season. Players who choose to participate in both should be prepared to manage the schedule overlap.
- For Grades 9–12, Travel High School Basketball and Intramural Basketball are separate seasons and do not overlap, so players can participate in both without conflict.
🏀 9. When are Boys Travel Basketball tryouts?
Tryouts will be held in mid-September. An exact schedule will be announced soon.
⏳ 10. What if I only want to register for Intramural Basketball if I don't make a Travel team?
If you're trying out for a Travel Basketball team and only want to join Intramural Basketball if you don’t make the team, you can wait to register for Intramurals until after Travel team selections are announced.
Intramural registration will remain open for a short time after tryouts. We’ll send out an email update once Travel rosters are finalized, so you won’t miss your chance to register.
🤝 11. Can I request to be on the same Intramural Basketball team as a friend or a specific coach?
No. St. Rose CYO does not accept requests for specific team placements.
Our program structure varies by grade level:
- Grades K–1: There are no formal teams in this division. Players are placed into clinic-style sessions.
If you would like your child to be in the same session as another player, please coordinate with other families before registering, as session choices are first-come, first-served.
- Grades 2–3: This division uses game-based practices. Teams are formed through a draft process intended to create balanced rosters based on the number of players, not skill level.
- Grades 4–12: Teams are formed through a draft based on player rankings to ensure competitive balance.
⚠️ Requests for team placement based on carpooling or scheduling conflicts with other activities are not accepted. However, if you have a legitimate concern involving a prior negative experience with a coach or player, contact us at office@strosecyo.org before registering.

These requirements will be shown during registration and can also be found on our homepage by clicking the link: [Click here for volunteer information].
💲 14. Does St. Rose CYO offer program discounts for multiple children?
Yes. St. Rose CYO offers a multi-child discount for families with three or more children participating in the Intramural Basketball programs (Grades K–1, 2–3, or 4–12).
To receive the discount:
Discounts will not be applied to registrations completed separately.
❗ 5. What does limited capacity mean for a sport?
Some CYO programs are marked limited capacity because there is a maximum number of participants allowed. This ensures the program can run safely and effectively while maintaining quality instruction.
If registration fills and you are placed on a waitlist, CYO will begin contacting waitlisted families within 24 hours of the registration close date to update you on your status.
